Asia's led an oversubscribed round of money-raising in WorkTech, a co-working ecosystem operator in Hong Kong. Some $25 million was raised, with help from venture capital firm Click Ventures, a local firm.

WorkTech will use the funding to speed up its Southeast Asia growth plans, WorkTech said in a statement this week.

WorkTech has also signed an agreement with Mindtell Technology, a Malaysian IT service provider, to form a joint venture company in Malaysia to operate co-working, co-living spaces and data centres locally.

WorkTech has a total gross floor area of more than 400,000 sq ft in Hong Kong, and over 500,000 sq ft globally. WorkTech intends to extend the Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines, to build a cross-border soft-landing community.
